Asimkai, a mysterious and vast land consisting of many different environments, that lies on the edge of an existence that is seen as 'Reality', and a different existence known as the 'Faraway'. While most creatures are fixed to the 'Reality' of Asimkai itself, otherwise known as the 'Clear'- Lazus can move freely between the Clear and the 'Faraway'. It is the 'Clear' that the version of this strange land appears normal, like you would expect trees and bushes and mountains and creatures to be like in our own 'real' world. Several creatures in Asimkai can pass between the different realities of the 'Faraway' and the 'Clear', but some of them are bound to one or the other, and cannot go between them. Those bound to the Clear are able to pass into the 'Faraway' for a short time if they carried over by a creature that is able to move between both realities, but they are unable to stay long. Creatures that stay too long in this state start to weaken and lose sense of themselves. The 'Faraway' is utterly strange among most standards, and can be considerably disorienting to those new to it. Time flows differently here, animals and creatures are much unlike the ones in the 'Clear', many seem to have strange powers about them. The landscape itself is odd and unpredictable, the weather patterns random and sometimes violent, the plant life and the trees especially- have consciousness all of their own. Everything in Asimkai is connected to one another in some way, but in the 'Faraway' that connection is heightened to extreme levels by some ancient, and innate power that flows freely through this plane of existence. Death itself is skewed within the confines of the Faraway, where one can never truly 'die' within this Plane, but instead remain flowing freely, disembodied and formless- but still in existence. The Faraway is also referred to as the 'Other Side', or that place where creatures' Souls go when they die within the reality of the 'Clear'. It is perhaps a common misconception of the creatures of the Clear that the Faraway is simply a Plane of Existence above their own, but it is fixed and just as large as their own Plane. However, the Faraway, while it is in it's entirety one Plane, it consists of man smaller and independent subplanes, to which many are ruled and dictated over by beings of immense and colossal power, known to the common tongue as 'deities', or as they are known more commonly among the natural residents of the Faraway, 'Reinnoc'. These Reinnoc are beings that embody the basis and the power connected to basic forces of nature. These Reinnoc would include the beings who embody the stars, the sun, shadow, light, etc. and are the most powerful beings in every Plane of Existence. Most of them hold dominion over their own subplane that sits inside that of the Faraway, and dictate the state of that plane, and rule directly (or sometimes, indirectly) over the beings who call that Plane home. Reinnoc change form and adapt in cycle with the power that they represent. Many of them choose a single form to remain in for eons, and some change their forms regularly, as they are able to at will. Sex is also changeable, and many can appear as female for one century, but become male the next. In times that a Reinnoc manages to be killed or 'dies' (as dying in the Faraway isn't like dying in the Clear, the soul would wander until it could manage to reform and build itself up anew) the form that Reinnoc takes on next could be entirely different from how they had been before. In times of great cosmic, or violent events tied to their power, they themselves alter and change on a deeper basis, so much so they may scarcely be recognizable.
